From Ecuador to Long Island City, Ruth has an inspiring story of transition from healthcare to financial empowerment. Trained as a Physician Assistant, Ruth spent over 12 years in medical fields, leading her team with dedication and expertise. Despite a successful career in medicine, the loss of her father prompted a shift towards financial services. Her drive to secure her family’s financial future and assist her community led her to join The World Changers, where she dedicates herself to transforming lives through financial education. Ruth also contributes her skills to the Queens Women’s Chamber of Commerce as Treasurer, guiding local business owners on personal and business financial management.

Ruth’s journey is fueled by her passion for service and education. From volunteering at an orphanage as a teenager to caring for vulnerable populations in a city hospital, her life has been a testament to her commitment to helping others. At The World Changers, she applies her passion to financial literacy, striving to build a legacy of knowledge and financial independence for others. Ruth is also committed to diversifying the financial industry, mentoring the next generation of financial professionals to ensure a broader, more inclusive future.

Outside of her professional life, Ruth is a dynamic individual with a love for adventure and growth. An avid runner, she has completed the NYC Marathon three times, and enjoys biking and exploring new learning opportunities. She cherishes time with her family and unwinds with her favorite book, The Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav. Ruth’s approachability and warmth make her a magnetic presence, inspiring everyone she meets with her dedication to empowerment and her gentle, supportive demeanor.
